The following instructions are for the browser Mozilla Firefox
(hopefully the majority)

1.  How to use thevincent.com as your Home Page:

Any menu item is shown in inverts as "Menu Item"

From the browser Menu bar (at the top of the screen page) left click on
"Tools", - this drops down a sub menu,
From this sub menu left click on "Options", - you get an options window
box appear in the screen,
From this window box left click on "Main", - you get another window box
appear,
This new window box is sub-divided into three subsections, the top
sub-section is titled ((Start up)) - my brackets to show the title - and
has a further two boxes within it,
the first box titled ((When Firefox starts)) should show the choice
"Show my home page" - if it doesn't then select it at the drop down
choice list after left clicking on the down arrow to the right of this box,
Then, in the second box titled ((Home page)) erase the existing text by
backspacing from the end and then EXACTLY type into the box the text in
the following brackets (http://www.thevincent.com),
Then left click the "OK" box, - the window box will then dissappear, all
done.
The NEXT time you run Firefox, the Vincent.com front page (with one of
the wonderful Jim's pictures) will be there to greet you in all it's glory.

2.   How to use the Daily Photo as your Background:

above and it will automatically load for you),
Then left click within the picture posted by Jim,
Then right click within the picture posted by Jim, this will produce a
new window menu box,
Then in the new window menu box left click on "set as Desktop
Background" (it's the sixth choice from the top), this will open a new
set desktop window,
Then in this new window at the top left there is a small box (possibly
showing "Centre" as the default choice), click on the down arrow to the
right of this small box,
left click on the "Stretch" choice item (the image shown within the
monitor will then change),
Then at the bottom of the set desktop window box there is another box
marked "Set Desktop Background", left click on this box and all the
newly opened window boxes dissapper - all done.
