I made a simple steel plate to go under the ATD centre nut with two protruding ears which locked the ATD in the full advance position ( the two springs can be removed and discarded). That way I didn't have to buy any additional components, nor disturb the timing chest cover !!  Only takes 30 minutes with a hacksaw, file and drill !!Cheers, Brian
